If your dog is small enough for you to carry it throughout your visit, you are welcome to bring it to the museum.
Larger dogs are not allowed.
Assistance dogs are of course always welcome in the museum.
We do not require advance booking but we are very happy to be given advance notification if you are planning a visit with a school class or large group.
It is possible to park directly in front of our entrance and the door is wide enough for all wheelchairs to enter using our ramp.
Unfortunately, we do not have a lift, so wheelchair users only have the opportunity to see the ground floor.
The Old Town Hall is actually like one large museum object, so our audience facilities are limited.
That’s why we unfortunately don’t have a wardrobe either.
Ordinary visitors are unfortunately not allowed to bring food.
Ribe’s narrow streets are not suitable for traffic and parking is limited. Use the large car park at the edge of the town centre and walk the few hundred metres to the museum through Ribe’s charming streets.
Parking in RibeIt is a good 5 minute walk from Ribe Station and Ribe Bus Station to the Old Town Hall
Walk along Dagmarsgade over the bridge past Sct. Catharinæ Church, then you will find the town hall straight ahead.
